Hi there!

Welcome to Vaulter Fit! We are four former pole vaulters with a passion for fitness. We were teammates at an NCAA Division II college in the Midwest, graduating in 2013 and 2014. We have all moved on from our track and field careers, relocating in various cities across the country, but we still love working out and staying active.

Now that we are graduated from college and retired from pole vaulting, each of us has had to find our own fitness routine outside of organized track practice. Kristin is a personal trainer, so she hangs out in the gym and often does multiple workouts each a day. Chelsey is continuing her education to become a nurse, so she has to find time to exercise between classes and homework. Kayla is a new mom, so she has experienced a lot of changes in her fitness level and time available for exercising. Samantha is figuring out her new fitness routine while pursuing her masters degree at an Ivy League college.

Although we are all in different places in our lives, we have one thing in common – we are all striving to get back into the same physical shape we were in when we were training for pole vault in college. We miss the days when we could run our fastest, jump our highest, and lift our heaviest. We were able to do all sorts of gymnastic drills and moves that left people in awe. Those are the things we want to still be able to do today.

We know that we aren’t the only former athletes who look back to a time when they were in peak physical condition and say, “I wish I could do that again.” Those were the “glory days” – the days when we were younger and training hard to reach our goals. Whether it is being able to do as many pull-ups as you used to or squat as much as you used to, we all look back at our days as athletes with a small desire to do it all again. Join us on our journey to get back to our peak fitness levels and return to our glory days.
